The Town of Edinburg Animal Control Officer is Bill VanNostrand. He can be reached at 863-4880. Dogs are required to have a rabies shot and to be licensed at 4 months of age. Failure to license your dog can result in a court appearance ticket and fine. Dogs are NOT permitted to run at large and must be under the owners control at all times. The Town of Edinburg Assessor is Lou Matousek. His office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm. The Office of the Assessor processes all applications for exemptions, including veterans, seniors and STAR. For questions on assessment matters please contact Lou Matousek.
The Town of Edinburg Building Inspector is Dominic Localtelli and the Code Enforcement Officer is Daryl Jensen. Their office hours are 9:00am to 12:00pm Monday - Friday. All construction projects including wells, septic systems, decks, storage buildings certain window replacements and demolition undertaken in the Town of Edinburg require a building permit. Failure to obtain a permit in advance will cause the after the fact permit fee to triple. Request forms from this site and mail completed to the Building Department.
The Building Department can also answer questions on Planning and Zoning and applications for the Planning and Zoning Boards can be requested and mailed. For questions or additional information on building, planning and zoning contact the Building Department.

The Town of Edinburg Highway Superintendent is Marvin Wilson. He has the overall responsibility for the Highway Department. The department maintains all of the town roads and road equipment, takes care of all town property, and operates and maintains the town cemeteries.
The Town of Edinburg Historian is Priscilla Edwards. She is responsible for maintaining records of the history of the community. She researches and writes on various subjects related to Edinburg history. She creates and maintains historical displays, works with the school to provide historic education programs for the children, presents programs on Edinburg history to groups and organizations, provides assistance with genealogical research and participates in county, regional and state historic programs and activities.
The Town of Edinburg Town Justices are Melanie VanEvery and Doug Sterling. Court is held each Monday night at 6:00pm at the Edinburg Town Court, 47 Military Road. The justices handle appearance tickets issued by police agencies, certain arrests and small claims court.
The Town of Edinburg Tax Collector is Faye Frasier. She collects taxes at the Town Hall during January, February and March.
The Town of Edinburg Town Clerk is Denise Ferguson. She is at the Town Hall during regular business hours. The Clerks office issues hunting and fishing licenses, dog licenses, handicapped parking permits and marriage licenses. In addition she maintains all of the town records including birth and death records often used in genealogy research. Various forms are available from request online.
The Town of Edinburg Supervisor is Jean Raymond. She is at the Town Hall during regular business hours. The Supervisor has the overall responsibility for the daily operations of the town government and serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Budget Officer. The Supervisor is also a member of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors.
